New Delhi, 7th May, 2024:-A free Spine and Joint Health Check Camp was successfully organized on April 28th, 2024, at MSS Hospital, Pitampura, New Delhi. The camp was a joint initiative by the APARC Centre for Neuro Rehabilitation (ACNR) and KOST-Kadambini Charitable Trust.
The camp aimed to provide comprehensive spinal and joint health checkups to the residents of Delhi and surrounding areas. Dr. Shankar Acharya, Trustee, KOST-Kadambini Charitable Trust & Chairman Spinal Surgery Department, Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, and Dr. Satish Kumar (PT), Director & Head ACNR, MSS Hospital, Consultant Physiotherapist, led the team of medical professionals who volunteered their time and expertise at the camp.
Dr.Sanjay Modi, General Physician andDr. Aditya Acharya, Orthopaedic Surgeon, gave their services in the camp.
The camp offered a variety of services, including: Free consultations with Dr. Acharya and Dr. Kumar for assessment of spine and joint problems.
Spinal and joint screenings to identify potential issues. A special test of foot and posture analysis was done at the camp to rule out any postural changes in the body.
Physiotherapy consultations to provide guidance on exercises and lifestyle modifications for better spine and joint health.
The camp saw a large turnout of participants, who benefited from the free consultations and screenings. Dr. Acharya and Dr. Kumar provided valuable insights into maintaining good spine and joint health and addressed the concerns of the participants.
Dr. Shankar Acharya said “Early detection and intervention are crucial for managing spine and joint problems. We are glad to have organized this camp to raise awareness about these issues and provide free consultations to the community.”
