It’s a comprehensive end-to-end birthing programme centered around restoring women’s choice and delivering the safest, most hassle-free birth experience, with care extending through one year postpartum for both mother and child.
Childbirth today is often driven by institutional and socio-cultural pressures rather than a woman’s informed choice or medical necessity. According to an IIT Madras study, C-Section rates in private hospitals have reached nearly 50%, far above the WHO-recommended 10–15%. Superbirth challenges this intervention-first model by restoring readiness and real choice, without compromising access to advanced medical care when needed.
The Superbirth program supports women from early pregnancy through the first year after birth, ensuring they are mentally, emotionally, and physically prepared for whichever birth pathway they choose — natural or surgical. It is structured across three integrated phases of care, supported throughout by a dedicated Birthcoach and evidence-based birth preparation (including Lamaze techniques).
PHASE I: Prenatal readiness (Weeks 4–40): Comprehensive prenatal care covering baseline health checks, genetic screening, fetal assessments, and structured physical and emotional birth preparation — ensuring confidence, readiness, and informed decision-making.
PHASE II: Labour & hospital care: This phase provides round-the-clock monitoring, support for vaginal birth, and access to caesarean delivery when medically required or consciously chosen, delivered within a fully equipped, high-safety hospital setting with private rooms. Care is provided through Superhealth’s multispecialty infrastructure, ensuring access to advanced operating theatres, on-call specialists, and emergency support for rare complications.
PHASE III: Postpartum & pediatric care (0–12 months): Extended support beyond delivery, including maternal recovery, mental health support, lactation counselling, vaccinations, and complete pediatric care through the baby’s first year.
Apart from this, Superbirth deploys a dedicated, multidisciplinary team including Birthcoaches, midwives, fitness and movement specialists, nutrition experts and senior OBGYNs available 24/7. This team works collaboratively to prepare women for natural birth where desired, while ensuring full medical readiness for surgical delivery if needed. Crucially, there is no additional charge if a woman chooses or requires a C-section at any stage of her journey.
The program eliminates the complexity and anxiety of maternity “packages” by offering a single, transparent, all-inclusive model that covers all consultations, diagnostic tests and scans, screening, delivery (natural or caesarean) and hospital stay in private rooms as well as any NICU requirements for the baby as well.
Additionally, includes one full year of post birth gynaecologist access for the mother and paediatrician for the baby as well as all first-year vaccinations.
